Robust and Manly GOLD CABERNET SAUVIGNON



Deep dark violet color, with strong red streaks. In the nose it has intense mature red cherries, and mature figs with a touch of toasty oak. Hints of soft cacao, vanilla and forest fruits can be also be found. In the mouth it has sweet round tannins, good balanced structured and soft velvety finish.

85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Carmenere.

APELLATION
Central Valley.

HARVEST
Hand picked. Depending on the variety, between end of March to beginning of May.

VINEYARD
Carmenere grapes coming from vineyards located in Maule and Rapel Valleys. The soil is stony and shallow.

WINEMAKING
Grapes were cold macerated for 2 days. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature between 25 degree and 28 degree C. Malolactic fermentation done in tanks. 40% of the blend was aged with American and French oak. Macerated for 15 days.
